A Brazilian entrepreneur, Henrique built payments company Pagar.me with his current co-founder Pedro. In just three years, Pagar.me grew to $1.5 billion in volume of transactions processed. In the fall of 2016, Henrique and Pedro sold Pagar.me and enrolled at Stanford University. After 8 months, they left school and founded Brex, a company that is reimagining financial systems.
Brian co-founded Viva Real and was the company's CEO from 2009 to 2016 when he became Chairman. The company bootstrapped its operation and eventually raised over $74 million USD. Under his management, the team scaled to 500+ people. Brian led merger negotiations with ZAP Imóveis, closing the deal in Dec 2017. He is also an angel investor in 25+ tech startups in Brazil and LatAm.

monashees is a technology VC firm founded in 2005 and based in São Paulo, Brazil. Eric serves on the boards of Clinica SIM, Jusbrasil, Fazenda Futuro, Conta Azul, MindLab, Enjoei, EduK, Foxtrot, among other portfolio companies. Besides his roles at Stanford and Pinterest, Jure is also an Investigator at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub. His research area is machine learning and data science for complex, richly-labeled relational structures, graphs, and networks for systems at all scales. Nicolás Szekasy is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Kaszek Ventures, the largest venture capital firm in Latin America with over $1 billion of raised capital. The firm was launched in 2011 and has invested in more than 75 startups. He currently sits on the board of several technology companies including Nubank, QuintoAndar, Creditas, Zap, Notco, NuvemShop, Alice.

SkyDeck is UC Berkeley's premier tech accelerator and a global hub for entrepreneurs. Caroline leads a program that now hosts more than 200 companies per year. She recently launched the Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, a VC oversubscribed $24M fund investing in Berkeley SkyDeck startups that donates half of fund profits back to UC Berkeley. Hannah Kain is President and CEO of ALOM, a global supply chain company she founded in 1997 headquartered in Fremont, CA. She taught at Copenhagen Business School and is a published with three university degrees and a 30-year management career. She has been honored as a 2016 Top 25 Champion of Diversity in STEM by DiversityGlobal Magazine, won the 2015 Manufacturing Institute STEP Ahead award. Under her leadership, ALOM won the 2015 Silver Stevie Award as the best global woman-owned company, just to name a few.

Abhay is a Silicon Valley veteran, a serial entrepreneur, speaker, and Inventor. ActiveScaler provides consumer service of IMRIDE and operation automation system for transportation service providers. IMRIDE is the door-to-door multi-modal transport for traveler service that will be able to book trips from anywhere to everywhere in major cities. Before ActiveScaler, he has founded two other startups, Jinvani systech and Zeotech, which got successful exits.

Amit leads Tau Ventures, a seed fund in Palo Alto focused on applied AI in digital health, automation (cars, drones, robots), and enterprise. He has been living in Silicon Valley for 20 years. At Samsung NEXT Ventures he seed-funded nuTonomy (self-driving cars, sold for $450M), cofounded a startup called HealthIQ. He also worked at Norwest Ventures ($10B AUM), and at Google, where he was a product and analytics leader.

Carlos has over 35 years of experience in the sector of logistics and transportation. He was the president of ASLOG (Brazilian Association of Logistics) and CEO of large companies in the sector. Since 2014, he has been an entrepreneur since 2014 with the logistics technology startup TruckPad, a digital freight marketplace. The startup won several competitions, it has been in the list of top “100 Open Startups 2019” and received investments from Movile (owner of iFood and Sympla) and from Mercedes-Benz.

With 10+ years of experience in the market, Tomás was one of the first to bring bike sharing technology to Brazil and is the leader of micro-mobility company Tembici. The company’s main area of activity is in the planning, implementation and logistics operation of bike sharing systems and shared parking. Present in 15 Brazilian cities, and in countries such as Chile and Argentina, Tembici recently raised a US$47m Series B led by Valor Capital and Redpoint eventures, with participation of IFC and Joá Investimentos.

He has served as an advisor to 25+ Pre-Seed and Seed startups and Fortune 500 companies like 3M, Fidelity, MassMutual, Cisco and Fujifilm. In partnership with Google Dev. Launchpad, Alec founded the Pioneer Accelerator that has supported pre-seed startups in Korea, Mexico, Brazil and Russia. A computer scientist, André co-founded Incognia, a new digital identity for the mobile era, which uses precise location signals to create an anonymous behavioral identity to securely authenticate users with no friction to mobile Apps and digital wallets. Prior to it, André founded Inloco Media, the leading Ad-tech player in Brazil, which was recently acquired by Magazine Luiza, one of the top e-commerce platforms in the country.
Federico is an entrepreneur in the logistics space, having founded CargoX, the largest freight marketplace in LATAM. Matching truck drivers and carriers with millions of loads of cargo, CargoX lowers transportation costs for shippers while boosting income for truck drivers, which rarely travel empty, and reducing CO2 emissions. The company went from a small operation, ran from a Starbucks coffee shop, in 2013 to connect over 75% of all trucks in Brazil with loads and generate over US$20 billion in transactions per year.
Anthym, recently sold to Blue Grace, is a 3rd party logistics company that provides Truckload, LTL, Intermodal. It was created when Eddie joined and helped combine Cousins Logistics and Atomic Transportation. He continues to be an operating partner at Woodlawn Partners where he returned after taking 5 years off to help grow Coyote Logistics. Previously, Eddie was the COO at Coyote Logistics, and a Director overseeing the Chicago Central Branch of C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., a $12 billion third party logistics (3PL) company
Assembly Ventures -with headquarters in Detroit and Berlin- invests in, and strategically supports, the entrepreneurs and mobility companies moving the Western world. OAlso is an Operating Partner at Beyond1435 is an innovation consortium between Deutsche Bahn, Siemens, Bombardier, and SBB. The goal is to jointly build innovation projects and grow them to industrial scale.
Noam joined ServiceNow in 2015, bringing more than 20 years of global sales and executive management experience. His career focus has been to drive sales and generate revenue for growth companies throughout North and Latin America. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Noam has held senior positions at several publicly traded companies, including HP Software, New Dimension Software, BMC Software.
Herman has 29 years of experience in Storage, Databases, and Cloud Computing. At Microsoft he leads storage and data categories for Azure Commercial Marketplace, Microsoft.
Previously Herman held leadership position at AWS, Oracle, and EMC. He is a volunteer pilot with Angel Flight West, providing free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults for medical or other compelling needs.
Grão Direto’s platform improves market intelligence analysis for growers and buyers, helping them make better decisions. Alexandre graduated in Business and has Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. A leader with experience in sectors such as wholesale distributor and food service, before joining Grão Direto Alexandre spent over 12 years working with large companies such as AmBev, Magalu, Cinemark, Grendene.
In addition to Banco Safra, Mr. Levy has served as a World Resources Institute Global Board Member since 2017. He is an Academic Fellow at Stanford University’s Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance. Mr. Levy served as President of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) from 2018 to 2019. Prior to accepting this appointment, Mr. Levy served as Managing Director and CFO of the World Bank. Previously, Mr. Levy served as the Minister of Finance of Brazil.
Since 2012, Leonardo has designed, implemented, evaluated and reframed an eleven year (2016-2026), $149M grant-making program at Moore Foundation. His goal is to scale up market and policy innovations aimed at addressing global agricultural drivers of deforestation, GHG emissions and biodiversity loss, the largest effort promoting zero deforestation commodities globally by private philanthropy.
Rizoma Agro's goal is to scale regenerative organic agriculture. The company designs and operates agricultural systems that produce profitable organic crops with a positive impact on the environment. Prior to Rizoma, Fabio Fabio was Director of Grupo Boticário’s corporate venture fund (2+Capital), Brazil’s 3rd largest CFT - cosmetics, fragrances and toiletries – player, and consultant at Bain & Company in Brazil, U.S. and Asia.
Andrew Zolli oversees the global social, climate, environmental and humanitarian portfolio of Planet Labs, a breakthrough global sensing company that is deploying the largest constellation of Earth-observing satellites in human history to image the entire surface of the Earth every day, and make it universally accessible on the Internet. This data has potential for advancing inclusive social dev., public health & more. He also serves on the Intl. Board of Human Rights Watch.
Alessio founded Pipefy in 2015. Built out of necessity, Pipefy became a powerful platform for Work Management, allowing teams to have more control over their operations, connecting departments, centralizing requests and contributing to a better visualization. The platform has grown rapidly, Pipefy is now used in over 215 countries by leading enterprises such as Visa, IBM, Coca-Cola, Volvo, Santander and Kraft Heinz.
